Sports Chiropractic Rehab | Leander, Texas
Injuries can happen anywhere – on the playing field, in the workplace, in your car, or at home. Without proper diagnosis and timely care, recovery can often become a slow and painful process. Physical therapy uses a variety of treatments and specific exercises to begin the rehabilitation process at the onset of injury. Through these treatments and exercises, physical therapy can efficiently and effectively strengthen the body and prevent future injury.
When life is altered due to an injury, a sports chiropractic physical therapy specialist can help get you back to activities you enjoy. You will be evaluated to determine ranges of motion, muscle strength, postural symmetries, abnormalities in movement patterns, body mechanics, and quality of movement with daily activities.
We take the whole body into consideration and analyze each individuals movement patterns from a joint by joint approach. With serial stability being top of mind, we work to find areas that are hyper-mobile and need stabilizing strategies, while looking at segments that are hypo-mobile, and need proper movement and proper positioning to perform a task. With having this at the forefront of our chiropractic physical therapy approach, our patients usually respond quickly.
Following the results of your evaluation, we will put together a specific chiropractic rehab plan. With all of our care, our chiropractic physical therapy will be targeted towards individual goals. Together, we establish goals and begin treatment that will be most effective to your specific injury.

Chiropractic Rehab Testimonials
“After a hard mountain bike crash 13 years ago, I dealt with chronic shoulder pain and limited mobility in my left shoulder. I met with several doctors and physical therapists, but nothing helped long term. I decided to just deal with the pain, which ranged from unnoticeable to unbearable. The limited mobility kept me from doing some daily activities, anything overhead, and lifting weights. There was also a noticeable decrease in strength. Last year I decided to get back into lifting and see how my shoulder handled it. I really wanted to try Olympic lifting (snatch and clean/jerk), but I couldn’t even get a broom stick into the proper position.
I met with Dr. Centofonti and after evaluating me, he used a combination of Active Release (which was amazing for instant relief) and corrective exercises to get my shoulder feeling better. Over just a few weeks of seeing him, I was able to PR in the overhead press, an exercise that used to cause a great deal of pain, as well as start focusing on the Olympic lift movements.
Fast forward to today, I have nearly all my range of motion back in my shoulder, zero pain, and the strength is slowly working its way up. I’m grateful for the work he has done, and would recommend him to anyone dealing with pain.”

“I was referred to Dr. Centofonti through my gym after having shoulder and hip impingement issues. After just a few sessions, I was not only able to lift weights that were previously out of reach but more importantly pain-free. This allowed me to push myself even further by running my first half-marathon in sub 1:40. I can’t thank Dr. Centofonti for his knowledge and expertise in keeping me healthy and striving to hit new fitness goals.”
